By Car

Waterside Gallery is situated in the heart of the Cornish fishing village of St Mawes.

We recommend parking in the main St Mawes car park. Follow the main road A3078 into the village and turn immediately right after the Rising Sun pub. The gallery is a 5 minute walk along the sea front.

Ferries & River Trips

The St Mawes Ferry provides a regular pedestrian ferry link from St Mawes to Falmouth year round.

The King Harry Ferry is a chain ferry connecting St Mawes and the Roseland with Truro and Falmouth.

Enterprise Boats run scenic boat trips from Falmouth to Trelissick Gardens from May to September.

Place Ferry is a small seasonal passenger ferry which offers a regular service throughout the day between St Mawes and Place from Good Friday to 3rd October. It allows visitors to explore the beautiful St Anthony Head and enjoy circular walks in the area.

The Fal River Links website has information and timetables for travelling by ferry, bus and rail. There is also a list of itineraries which incorporate some of Cornwall’s most prominent visitor attractions such as the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Trelissick Gardens, and St. Mawes Castle. It also gives you a list of activities, with which you can plan your own day out, including walks, fishing trips, cruises and so on.
