Tamsyn's work explores the interaction between land and sea. Her inspirations are the shorelines and rock formations of her native Cornwall and her 'seaforms' aim to convey the rugged and weathered textures of these environments.
The pieces are built by hand in heavily grogged stoneware clay, decorated with a variety of different slips and glazes and then multi-fired to build up the textures. The final outcome is completely unique and suitable for display both inside and outside. (Click on each photo for more information).
